Furthering Perspectives Submission Form

Furthering Perspectives is a journal published by the Anthropology Graduate Student Society (AGSS) at Colorado State University. It is a student-run and peer-reviewed academic journal that aims to foster collaboration among students and faculty, and to represent student research that reflects anthropological knowledge.

Journal editors accept submissions on an annual basis. For more information about the journal and complete submission guidelines, read the 2024 Author Guidelines (PDF)

Submissions should include a brief cover letter or abstract and your manuscript prepared for a double-blind review. Anonymize your manuscript and submit author details as a separate document.

Please follow the AAA style and format guidelines for all manuscripts. Submit files compatible with Microsoft Word. Furthering Perspectives does not currently have a strict length requirement, although it is recommended that submissions do not exceed 5,000 words. If a submission exceeds this recommendation, it will be up to the editor(s) discretion whether it is considered for publication.

Evaluation Process: Each submission will be initially screened by the editor(s) to determine if the manuscript has followed all guidelines and fits the aims and scope of the FP journal. If the submission is accepted for review, the manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review by no less than two reviewers. Authors of accepted manuscripts may be asked to revise or edit their work.
