Welcome to the Department of Anthropology and Geography. The work of our faculty focuses on human-environment interactions, globalization, and development as well as health and well-being.
We offer undergraduate programs in both anthropology and geography as well as graduate programs in anthropology. Our anthropology faculty specialize in three areas including archaeology, biological anthropology, and cultural anthropology. Our geography faculty specialize in human geography, physical geography, and geographical tools and methods such as geographic information systems (GIS), cartography, and remote sensing.
