As Henry Giroux once famously commented, “Public schools are at the center of the manufactured breakdown of the fabric of everyday life. They are under attack not because they are failing, but because they are public.” But public educational workers and their organizations have long countered such ‘attacks’ – doing so by engaging in workplace democracy. Come hear from educational employees to learn about efforts to reinvigorate workplace democracy across Colorado.
