Whitney Duncan, Associate Professor, Department of Anthropology, University of Northern Colorado.

 “Globalization, Migration, & Health: Views from Mexico and the U.S.”

Dr. Duncan will draw on data from two research projects — one on mental health in Mexico, another on Latinx immigrant health in Colorado — to explore globalizing ideas, transnational lives, and how individuals and communities cope with distress and disease in contexts of cultural change and political turmoil.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided. This event is open to the public.
