“Geospatial Centroid 2.0: New directions in spatial services, support, and opportunities”

The CSU Geospatial Centroid has grown and emerged as a comprehensive service center within CSU Libraries that provides geospatial technical expertise to campus and beyond. Centroid staff will discuss the power of geospatial technologies and present an overview of past and current projects. Presenters will describe and demonstrate how the Centroid engages with the campus community, and discuss opportunities for collaboration through web mapping applications, complex spatial analyses, and elegant cartographic products, with attention toward the fields of anthropology and geography.

The Department of Anthropology and Geography hosts Caitlin Mothes and Sophia Linn as a part of the department Seminar Series.
