Embassy Suites by Hilton
The Northern Chapter of the Colorado Archaeological Society (CAS) is hosting the CAS Annual Meeting at the Embassy Suites in Loveland, October 22 and 23rd.
We are seeking student volunteers to assist with the event on Saturday. Volunteers will assist with on-site registrations, directing folks to daytime speakers, helping with our Alice Hamilton scholarship fundraiser, and more. Any student who volunteers will be allowed to attend the conference at no cost (banquet ticket not included).
CAS is an organization promoting Colorado’s archaeological heritage. The annual meeting is attended by both avocational and professional archaeologists and is a great opportunity to network and learn more about the diverse research taking place across our state. These events are only made possible through the involvement of volunteers, and this annual meeting will be a great way for students to get introduced to the Society in a laid-back environment. Folks who are interested in attending the conference as a volunteer should reach out to NCC_CAS@hotmail.com by September 14th. The more the merrier with student volunteers, so consider inviting your friends to join you to help run registration and silent auction tables.
Colorado State’s Anthropology program is deserving of high praise thanks to the efforts of our faculty and students. We would be proud to have a strong showing of Rams at this upcoming meeting! Be sure to check out our website to register for the event, see other upcoming field trips and lectures, and learn about other ways to get involved. https://casncc.org
