About

Biography

I received my B.S. in Geography here at Colorado State University in 2020 and am now working on my M.S. in the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology with my home department in Anthropology and Geography under Dr. Heidi Hausermann.

My research is centered around land-use land-land changes, migration, and livelihood strategies in response to water catchment (dams) in farming communities of northern Ghana. I am interested in better understanding the intersections of local ecosystem functions, natural resource management, and (non)farming strategies in response to changing climatic conditions and State development in a water-limited and underdeveloped arid savanna landscape.
